Finally a gaming phone from Tecno.

This is Tecno Spark 6. Which have MediaTek Helio g70 chipset. And recently the chips have become very popular for budget gamers. This is a budget segment phone.

Overview:

6.8-inch use display with a camera cutout.
MediaTek Helio G70 chipset.
5000 images big battery with 18 watts fast charging support.
4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

Design:

I kind of like the design. The camera house is in a circular shape. I have the Ocean Blue colour variant in my hand. And it has another colour variant which is Comet Black. 
 
But I like the blue colour most. Though this phone is made with plastic it didn't feel cheap. The back panel was not so glossy or Matte. So it may take some fingerprints And scratches.  
 
And the phone is very big. So it's not possible to use this phone with one hand. But this phone was not so heavy and the weight distribution was also perfect. So it didn't feel uncomfortable in hand.
The fingerprint scanner was also in its usual position. And it was working very fast and accurately.

Buttons and ports:

The power button and volume buttons are situated on the right side. 
 
Triple card slot on the left side where you can use two sim cards And a dedicated memory card. On the bottom, it has a 3.5 mm audio jack, primary microphone and a micro USB port. Which is very disappointing. 
 
And you can see that there is no dedicated multimedia speaker. So you have to use the earpiece as the speaker. And I am not satisfied with the quality of the earpiece.

Display:

But I like the 6.8-inch big display. Which is an IPS LCD panel but the resolution HD Plus. And we see HD plus displays in many forms at the same price so it's not complaining. 
 
But the brightness should be better. It has some issues in direct sunlight. But you will not have any problem indoors or in the shade. 
So there is nothing more to complain about the brightness. 
 
And you can have an immersive experience from this big display because it has the camera cut out which will not disturb you in multimedia playing. 
Which is also a positive side. And there is no colour negativity And the viewing angle was also perfect. 
 
But the Touch Response was not so good.

Performance:

The key selling point of these devices is their performance. 
4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage have been used in this device. Which is very rare in this price range. 
 
And this 4GB RAM is more than enough for most of the tasks. There is no complaint with the day-to-day task of this device. App opening, closing, multimedia playing was very smooth. And I didn't see any lagging or hiccup in day to day tasks And multitasking. 
 
And this chipset is definitely proven in gaming. This device has a MediaTek Helio G70 chipset which is an Octa-Core. And it is cortex A75 and cortex A 65 based. 
 
In Pubg by default, it supports HD graphics and a high frame rate. But you can play with smooth graphics and  Ultra frame rate if you want. And the gameplay was very smooth. Accepting some frame drops I didn't see any major issues. 
 
It was also the same in Call of Duty. You can play it in high graphics without any issues. And I have a better gaming experience from this phone for its big display.
 
Overall this device is perfect for gaming in this budget. But the backside becomes hot after playing games for a long time.

Camera:

It has four cameras in the back. 16-megapixel primary camera 2-megapixel Macro lens 2-megapixel depth sensor and an AI lens.
 
The front camera is 8 megapixels. And I think that the photos of this camera are optimised. And it also has an AI cam. 
 

Battery:

It has a 5000 mah big battery with 18-watt fast charging supported. But it has a 10-watt charger in the box. I don't know why they do this.
