Xiaomi Redmi 9T - Full Review

This is the Xiaomi Redmi 9T.

I am already confused With the name. Because Xiaomi has already released almost 4 phones of the Redmi 9 series.

I know more models means more sales. And it has a positive side. That you can choose from many options.

But I prefer to clean the lineup.
So, today we will only discuss the Redmi 9T.

Design:

Taking this phone in hand at first you will notice the Redmi branding in the back. But I didn't prefer this huge branding. It feels very eye-catching to me. Though the colour is more eye-catching. But I think this is good to have a small branding.

And it also has a texture in the back. That's why I am having the feel of Realme C series phones. So it will not get any fingerprints or scratches on the back.
The camera house has a sunshine glow effect Which looks very nice.
Fully plastic build phone.

It has a 6000mah big battery. But this phone is not so heavy or bulky. Its weight is only 168 grams. And it feels very comfortable in hand. And I am really surprised with this light body even having a huge battery. It's really appreciating.

Ports and buttons:

On the top, it has a secondary noise cancellation microphone, 3.5 mm audio jack, an IR blaster and a secondary speaker grill.
This phone has a stereo speaker. Which is very admirable at this price. And I really liked its speaker quality.

Primary microphone and USB type C port on the bottom side.

On the left side, it has a triple card slot Where you can use two Nano sim cards and a dedicated memory card.

On the right side, it has volume buttons and a power button with a fingerprint scanner. I like the side-mounted fingerprint scanner but the speed was not so good.
We can see a faster fingerprint scanner in other phones at the same price.

Display:

In the front, it has a 6.53 inch full HD Plus Resolution and IPS LCD Panel. And it has a water drop nose at the top of the display.

The colour And touch response of the display was perfect. It may have some issue with the brightness in direct sunlight. There is no colour negativity and the viewing angle was also fine. And you can stream in HD Plus on the online platforms.

Overall I like the display quality. There is nothing to complain about.

Performance:

I have the 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM variant.
It has used the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 as its chipset. And you may already know about this chipset.
It is the same as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665.

But the chipset performance was not so good. It was very laggy on this device. The home screen was not so smooth. It was also lagging in multitasking. Overall, the actual performance of this chipset was missing in this device. And the biggest reason is, early release without software Optimisation.

I have played Pubg on this device. It was even lagging in the recommended settings. But the free fire was running in this device without any issues. I think this can be fixed by software updating.
And its Android version is 10.

Camera:

Now let's see its camera.
It has four cameras in the back. 64-megapixel primary camera, 8-megapixel Ultrawide shooter, 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The daylight camera quality of the primary camera was average, not so extraordinary. The sharpness and brightness of the camera were accurate. There are enough details in the photos.

The selfie camera is 8 megapixels. But I liked its camera quality. Though It's not extraordinary, it is better than the other phones at this price.

Battery:

It has a 6000mah battery.  and you can expect  2-3 days battery backup easily from this device if you are a moderate user.

It supports 18-watt charging but they have given 22 watts In the box. I don't know why they have done this.

So this is today's review.
